I understand the concerns some teachers might have about AI in the classroom and the potential for students to misuse it. However, when properly harnessed, AI can be our ally, assisting us in planning, communication, and student engagement, all while helping us work smarter, not harder.

With 20 years of teaching experience and a Masters in Education focused on Curriculum and Instruction, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of innovative teaching methods on students. Through speaking engagements, I’ve shared strategies for cultivating creativity, curiosity, and intellectual growth through STEAM-based activities and Design Thinking, all while preparing students for success in the 21st century. This work has been recognized through grants for my classroom and recognition from publishers.
